Where are you summer?

It's been wet and raining!  The only thing I wish right now is for the sun to come up again!  So I'm staring at this photo:

and the plants on my windowsill:

Let's just say that inside my head, it's summer!!!! Arrrghh.

Hope it's sunny where you are! x

Sending sunshine your way!!! Here in Houston we pray for rain... it's been a hot summer. So hot that without the rain we weren't even able to have fireworks this year. Boo.

Come to N Carolina and you can have all the summer you want!

Hi Len - probably as bad down here as it is with you - summer has deserted us for a while (we desperately need the rain, so really I'm not complaining).

Cheer up .. cheers! Hilary

Hi Len .. I wonder if you could un-embed your comment box .. I have to change browsers and then click, click etc and enter my details before the comment comes up - whereas if it is unembedded everyone can comment easily - many thanks .. cheers Hilary

I cannot believe that summer feels so over!! It's been rain, rain, wet, rain, grey, rain oh and a bit of really windy weather too. :-(

I pray that August will be different! Awwww is that your garden? It's lovely and green!! And Yay for your gorgeous blooms on your windowsill! Take care

@Hilary - I've done as you requested. Hope all is okay now.

@Jen - thank you! I hope it reaches the UK! :)

@L. Diane - I wish!

@ Old Kitty - It's so miserable, arrrgh! We have a common lawn here.

I'll be honest. I'm more of a winter person, and this heat is killing me! But gorgeous pics :)

It's been almost all sunshine here (except for the rain we had this morning), and it's getting a bit dry--feel free to snag some of the sun we're having! :P

I hope it clears up where you are.

We're still waiting for summer too, on the "Wet Coast" of Canada. At least it's been mostly dry, but still way too cool for this time of year. You have my sympathies, I well remember the misery of a British non-summer.

Keep the sun alight in your heart and don't let it get you down. Do something batty like fire up the barbecue under a big golf umbrella and cock a snook at the elements!

It's almost too summer here. Sun, haze, and fog mixed together. Over 100 degrees... eek.

I hope you get sun soon.

Colorado has been hot, too. Congratulations on your stories, and I love your blog background!

I hope the sun has returned by now! We're starting with a heatwave tomorrow through Saturday. I wish I could send you some of our weather. We could compromise and each have lovely days!
